Marie Taillefer - French photographer.

I came to know Borre Akkersdijk (in the last post) from Marie Taillefer, who is a French photographer.

She also shoot for fashions editorials.

Here is where I found Borre Akkersdijk.

"I titled the work of Marie Taillefer “Trend Photography” for a few reasons. Firstly Taillefer is regularly contributor to Bloom Magazine, which is one of the best trend publication available right now. Secondly, all of her final images look like moodboards, either the image is drawn over, cut, torn or retouched in a way that all her images seem to be part of a trend book. No series looks like another. There is so much imagination and beauty in her work, I love it all!" - by Cyril Foiret in Trendland, read here.

They say, like Marie Taillefer said: just like a painting.

I say: just like a dream.

I am like seeing paintings from the art gallery.

I hope you like them too! :)

Borre Akkersdjik - Art and Fashion.

I saw this and just want to share it to you, this reminds me of the photo you tagged me not long ago, about the art and fashion boutique.

Yes, art and fashion, this is really art and fashion.
How beautiful.

Hardly find his information/description/bio/etc., the only thing I found about him, so far:
"25 years old, he studied at design academy eindhoven (the netherlands) & FIT N.Y.C.
He is working on his new collection and as a freelance designer in paris."
-as found here.

I want them for my winter! Ok, maybe autumn.
Looks comfy and so fashionable.

And, of course, the video is nicely taken too!

Hope you enjoy it too :)

Alexandre Farto aka Vhils.

I found this pretty interesting art pieces by Alexandre Farto aka Vhils
It's the destruction parts that make up the picture, how amazing. This reminds me of the words in Eat, Pray, Love - something like this: destruction is the path to transformation - how nice.

Anyway, you can see more from the artist's page or here (the blog from where I saw this, there are many posts about arts there too.)

Hope you like it :)

Dream.

I was a little girl alone in my little world who dreamed of a little home for me.
I played pretend between the trees, and fed my houseguests bark and leaves, and laughed in my pretty bed of green.

I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest swing.
I had a dream.

Long walks in the dark through woods grown behind the park, I asked God who I'm supposed to be.
The stars smiled down on me, God answered in silent reverie. I said a prayer and fell asleep.

I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest tree.
I had a dream.

Now I'm old and feeling grey. I don't know what's left to say about this life I'm willing to leave.
I lived it full and I lived it well, there's many tales I've lived to tell. I'm ready now, I'm ready now, I'm ready now to fly from the highest wing.

I had a dream

***
We have a dream.

(I heard this song in the Bride Wars long ago, but not knowing who sings it. I didn't even bother searching it. I think it's fate that brings this song back to me, when I'm facing some questions in life. I was introduced by someone to this singer, and surprisingly I found her singing this.
Life is full of miracles.)

As you said, we can't see the future because it's too bright! :)

Angus and Julia Stone.

Intro by one. I listened, and think, not too bad.
So here I share.
Altho' this is not the type of music that will be kept playing in my iTune.

Anyway, as I said, not too bad.

Beautiful animated GIFs by Jamie Beck & Kevin Burg.

I saw these somewhere, what a beautiful image I thought.
I just can't resist to find out who did these.

So I came to this blog, showing all these perfect images - From Me To You.
They're done by Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg. There is this article about how they created those animated GIFs - click here for reading.
(Honestly, I am not a high-tech person. I don't have a clue about the process, even I read the article. I didn't even know about GIF before this, wth.)

I only know the meaning of beautiful.
They're so silent yet so lively.

I hope you enjoy it :)

This Will Destroy You.

Sometimes I find that lyrics are distracting.
So, sometimes I would like to have pure music. Classical music is good. OST by Hans Zimmer is also good for me. Now I found this band too:  This Will Destroy You.

It's a bit inspiring. Hmm.. and.. I just don't know how to describe the feeling towards them.
Although some parts of the music are kinda annoying after repeating for over and over again, and also a bit tired for the over-inspiring-spirit.

Anyway, check them out! :D
It's good overall, especially for the lyricless part :-O

Should| Like a Fire without Sound

I think you would like soothing music more, so here I introduce this album - Should| Like a Fire without Sound - which although the my favourite, but I like it that it could calm me, I like it especially when I'm sitting on a bus looking outside the window, I like it brings me the feeling of having a road trip ;D Oh, it sounds like some films' OST too. This reminds me of one film - Nick's and Norah's Infinite Playlist - which I think you might be interested in too. Kind of like indie film/light movie to go. Not a big film for sure. (Tho' the ratings are not high.)
(Most importantly, I found it under the indie music section. Lol.)

Too bad that Youtube doesn't have many videos of them. I only found this. I can't share more :(

Cat Power

the music you shared remind me of Cat Power (because of Cat)

Greatest Love

See her sing here!

This is nice too!

Its soothing, hope you like it as much as I do!

Cat's Eyes.

Back with music!
I want to share some albums that I've bought randomly few days ago!

One by one.

Today's sharing: Cat's Eyes.
(I confess that this was introduced by the cashier in the record store, when I'm purchasing the Cocorosie's and Lykke Li's old albums, I asked: Do you have any other new songs which is nice to introduce? I want some weird music, something like this *referring to Cocorosie and Lykke Li*)
So here it's. The Cat's Eyes I chose after he showed me few artists.

I love the variations of music they made, which surprise me, which is no logic, no particular style, not boring at all!

(Live in Vatican? So cool! Some say it's not Vatican, but it's, in my impression. Not sure. Anyways, definitely a nice music.)

Just so excited to share what I've found, good music is always what I'm hungry for. Anyway, sorry if it's outdated.

Hope you like it! :D
