Discover David LaChapelle in Mandy's sina (微博 - which is like a blog also).
Anyways, about David LaChapelle, from what I understand (information from wikipedia), he is an fine art photographer.
Saw his artworks which is quite eye-chatching.
Due to the wide range of variaties for the photos, I, who have the choices making phobia disorder, could not decide which photo to share and decided just post what has attracted me to the David's studio page. The photo posted above taken from Mandy's page.

Nice works there. Who say that photography is hardly to be relevant to fine art? Now there is fusion. Also, this may satisfy you with the all in one.

brains and beauty- by a 13 year old girl

i'm not sure if this is true, but this fashion blog (brains and beauty) is managed by a 13 year old girl. i randomly clicked on it from the blog you shared (blog portal) in the previous post (great blog btw! very informative and i feel that its one of those blogs that can make you end up clicking and clicking on the linked urls for the whole day and keep discovering inspiring stuff).

i think i was still collecting stickers when i was 13. =_=

I found this when I was checking out for the date of London Fashion Week in June.
It was described as a stop to access to best blogs around in the fashion media.
Lots more to be explored.

spot the bodiless Mr Pringles too! (using their hands to crawl)
a bit messy, but creative and funny!

Four Lions

Just came back from the cinema.
Watched this movie called Four Lions.
It's basically about four terrorists.
It actually used a realistic way to shoot this video, with some humorous conversations.
It talks about the life of the terrorists, how they plan to bomb, what's their thoughts before the death.
They may actually not sure about what they were doing before the death.
It's a tragedy actually.

Not a bad movie. The cinema were burst with laughters. Although I don't get some of the jokes.
But you could try to watch it and give it a deep thought.

That make me think that, is it really a good thing to have strong obsessive over certain thing? Even until you actually forget about your inital motive of doing that thing, or maybe there is no good motive or real purpose from the start.
In the end, you just doing something for the sake of doing it.

Anyways, enjoy the movie! :)

Away We Go

Love this movie.
Simple but nice.
The director won Oscar for his last movie - "American Beauty"
Saw the trailer but haven't watched that yet. Would watch it when there is chance.
Anyways, Away We Go is definitely a nice and light movie.

after discovering it, i have been loosing myself in Design Observer whenever i am online.

inspiring, thoughtful, informative and big hearted, it is where i have been learning about graphic design and its impact- on others and on ourselves as the designers. A rich and beautiful blog that is so diverse on its topics.

I havent explore the whole blog yet, but i found that they feature Design Matters- Debbie Millman , the host of a radio show that talks on Graphic Design. She is also the author of "How To Think Like A Great Graphic Designer". In these interviews, I love her introductory snippets where she will talk about some of her past experiences and her thoughts with brutal honesty, sometimes she reads paragraphs from books, which are equally touching and inspiring.

I will keep on posting posts that i have read and find touching and inspiring from this "treasure chest"!

Found the website while I'm google-ing about Dr. Martens boots. Wish to get a pair of those boots which I think is very cool! Ahh...rock and roll! Avril wears them too.

Anyways, back to the 'Lookbook' website.
I found it very interesting.
Anyways, you could click on the 'hype' on the top left corner of the photo if you like the photos. Not really sure about the real purpose of the website, maybe they are just sharing their sense for fashions and stuffs.
I have connected myself with the facebook account! So now I could get 'hype' up with the photos :D
